Nice

I really liked this one - I follow Jan Cramer the narrator and always check out what she is performing. I really liked the interactions of characters and the unfolding past was tremendous. There was more than enough mystery in this to fulfill a sequel or three so really hope the author does that....

Vintage Stella Riley

The Marigold Chain is a little different to other historical romance novels - it has a good mystery woven through the character's story and the hero is a little bit tarnished to say the least!

Without giving away key plot elements I truly loved Chloe, Alex, Matt, Danny and the rest of the ensemble. I can see plenty of room for a sequel or three :) and will be looking out for them.

Well worth spending a credit on - if you've never listened to Stella Riley's books before - you're in for a treat and if you have - then you won't be disappointed :)

Better than chocolate and for me that's a lot!

I'm sad because I've got one more book to listen to (Book 7) and then I have to wait again. I binged listened to the first six one after another and was totally emersed in the world of Kim Stone and the rest of her team. I've been worried about them, I've been sad and I've been pissed off as you are with people you care about when they do stupid things - and that's just the tip of the iceberg as to what Angela Marsons will expertly take you through with this series. I've waited and now "Just" downloaded book seven - do not know the plot and don't care - because it's like gold to me - like chocolate and gold - it's the best thing that can happen.
Thank you, Angela and thank you Jan Cramer - I love what you've collaborated to bring us, the listeners. Mwah!
Now.... off to listen....

The gift that keeps on giving - You need these!

I love this series so much! - Kim Stone is a character that has such complexity and such depth - I don't even bother looking at what the book is about now - just grab it, download it and lose myself in the world that Ace Author Angela Marsons brings us. The subjects covered in these books are not mundane or politically "nice" - their real, their gritty and they make you think of just what life is and is worth to some people. How Angela Marsons has come to write such a brilliant series with such story arcs that cover the whole series leaves me in awe. Such a real pleasure to listen to.

You had me at book one... Awesome

I don't even bother to read the synopsis now - if it says Angela Marsons and Kim Stone Novel on it then you have me hook line and sinker. This author is stunning to read, expert at killer thrillers and clearly, so clearly has so much more to unfold to us the listeners. Kim Stone is a complex and damaged person that you want to get to know. Narrator Jan Cramer is the person that breaths life into Kim Stone and her cohorts and she is second to none at doing this - favourite narrator - big tick.

Wow.
What a great author! - Angela Marsons I love your work! - I especially love this series with Kim Stone and applaud your head-on approach to difficult subjects. These characters are far from predictable and they are so well written and real! - They are real people with everyday stuff as well as complex relationships to deal with. A really great killer thriller! - you'll love it (and them!)

I wasn't sure to start with - but so glad I did!

I wasn't sure to start with when I first bought this book - I wondered if I'd made a mistake.
I couldn't have been more wrong - it was brilliant. What starts out as a something that you think is predictable - it's anything but. I am thoroughly impressed with Kate Reinders as a writer and Amy A. Bartol did an amazing job as narrator. It's so important that in an audible book the writer and narrator mesh together - and mesh they did. I ache, no truly I do ache for the next book - it's one to watch for.

This series just gets better and better

I love this series by Robert Bryndza. I don't get time to read so when I can multiskill and listen to my books I love it. The character Erika Foster and cohorts in this series of novel are awesome and I love getting to know them through the expert narrating of Jan Cramer who has given them all not just voice - but heart and soul. The writing is witty, strong and sound. There is never a time that the author breaks the rhythm with anything out of character or impossible in the plot. Instead, as you are taken by surprise by what happens next you'll think ahhhh! - that's why he said... or that's why that happened...
Overall a great listen and can't wait for more.
