I have read many books on sleep for
Professional reasons, This book lacks the information other than the basics. I have purchased many more books than I have returned and will continue to do so.

Nevertheless: A Memoir

I was hooked on the first sentence. This is an insightful, melancholy story of this actor.I could not stop listening. His Memories of movies is remarkable. He, like my brother and I used to stretch out on front of TV, laying on our stomachs chins in our hands, watching, Bogart, Cagney, John Wayne. Maybe the lives of introverted, lonely kids need to be filled with other lives. He had a list of books. I read it and kept saying "Yes". I would be remiss if I did not mention Baldwin's soft, and husky Voice. It, the voice and the story are hypnotic. Treat yourself.

13 Hours in Benghazi

I read the book before I saw the movie. The book was riveting. I kept thinking About these men, waiting, waiting. Who was supossesed to help them Not to mentio we were not really supossed to be there. Then I saw the movie and it shook me to the core. They were real, they died. They died without help. The movie will bring you to tears

Magic of Tidying Up

I purchased this audio book looking for some inspiration. I was surprised by just how much inspiration this book gave me. Some of Marie Kondo's ideas run counter to what I was always told, such a just do a little at a time.
I found this book gave me a plan. It is not often I purchase how to books. This book had a zen feeling and left off the drill sergeant talk.
Very enjoyable and informative.

Don't chose this book.

I was hoping this would be an informative, insightful book.
First the narrator was irritating.
The story was put together in odd vignettes
If you want to know about Peter Lawford, then read Christopher Lawford's books.

Sad but true

I found this biography well written. The facts of Rita Hayworth's life are public knowledge.
Her life is described with truth and compassion. I enjoyed it even though the outcome is inevitable.

Humanitarian effort?

I had hoped this Mia Farrow would touch on her famous mother, Sinatra and her humanitarian efforts. I found the book the writings of a still bitter woman. I am sorry I wasted my time and money. If I wanted to read about Woody Allen I would have purchased a biography of Woody Allen. Skip this one. Not enough good to outweigh the bad.

I also give this book What Remains 5 Stars.

I have listened to this book too many times to count. It is heartbreaking. Carole Radziwill tells the story of John Kennedy Jr's last flight. What draws me to this book is Carole's reading of her own story. She was a very close friend of John's wife. She and her husband the son of Lee Radzwill were enjoying the perfect life, a happy life. The he was stricken with Cancer. I don't want to tell you everything but this is a beautiful book. At one time I was a grief counselor trying to help people deal with loss. I Will admire Carole forever because of the things she did right and how like all of us who loose someone, what not to do. No it is not chock full of Kennedy stories, it is the story of 4 very good friends. So worth the listen.

Still Foolin' Em

I had just seen his HBO special and really liked it. When I started listening the story became a totally different animal. I no know it takes Crystal's stge movement and faces to mke it work. I have always liked Billy Crystal but see him on stage. The book is dry, slow and I wish I had not purchased it. Sorry Billy.

Journal Keeper a Memoir

This is an intelligent, insightful funny book. When I purchased it I though it was light and easy to listen to book. Within 10 minutes I had restarted the story. Phyllis Theroux is a woman my age. In understand why she journals. I do the same. I can't express enough the wit and intelligence of this writer, who is also the narrator. It is her life, the good, the bad, the ugly. I have listened to it twice to pick up the literary references . For now it is my default favorite. I highly recommend The Journal Keeper.
