A good story

I liked the story. but as a loyal fan to Molly Harper and the usual reader Amanda ronconi. I found it was hard to stay connected in the story. the narrator while he has a great voice, didn't seem to get the humor or at least didn't seem to get the timing down for the humor. I found it distracting on more than one occasion. that being said I love the story and I hope it adds a whole new host of characters for her to write on. I would enjo yreading and hearing these stories.

This one will always be in the top 5 of the series

I love how Harrison expand upon Dragos and Pia story adding all new characters and new obstacles to overcome. I never want to put this one down or stop listening to it. It's a favorite go to for me that i never tire of.

Another good story

Sands provided another cast of interesting and engaging characters. I enjoyed this book but it did feel like it ended to soon for me.

This one did not wow me in any way!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I have mixed feeling about recommending this book to anyone. I didn't think this story was well thought out. There were parts of the story that were disconnected and did not go with the characters development. I found Suzy to be whinny and to insecure and I didn’t feel that she grew out of that by the end of the book. I also never came to care for her character and ended up losing a bit of respect for her in the end.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I liked the family aspect and City was a great alpha male character, but I couldn't get into his relationship with Suzy.

How could the performance have been better?

I didn't like the female reader in this one. Her voice made Suzy's already lackluster dialog worse because it seemed forced. There was also a huge difference in the way the readers interpreted the accents of the main characters. It was hard to get into.

Was Throttle Me worth the listening time?

Yes I would say it was worth listening to but it is not something I would listen to more than once. I tend to like to listen to books in my library over and over and this will not be one in my rotation.

Any additional comments?

I am aware this is part of a series and I hope the others are better or that they at least have a better listening experience.

A Wonderfully Fun Journey! It kept me Laughing

What made the experience of listening to Driving Mr. Dead the most enjoyable?

This author was witty and fun and kept me laughing though out the book

What did you like best about this story?

I could really relate to the main character. Her series of mishaps kept me on my toes.

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes I have, she is a wonderful narrator! I felt she was really engaged in the storyline.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes it made me laugh out loud quite a few times actually. ^_^ I had so much fun listening to it at work my coworkers asked me what I was listening to. I think i may have won one or two over to audible as well.

Any additional comments?

I don't write many reviews... well actually this is my first. I hope that anyone reading it will not be too critical but I had to write something here because I was genuinely surprised to like this book as much as I did. I've listened to it twice now and have only had it for 72 hrs (once at work and two days in the car with my carpool buddies).
