A Super Neat Cozy Mystery With Excellent Narration

( Alaska Cozy Mystery )

The Snowman Killer was a great listen. I loved this audiobook for a three hour action-packed cozy. It was a complete short with a fun setting in Alaska and great characters with Sarah and Conrad. This was a light listen, not super heavy. I really enjoyed it. This is the first audiobook I've listened to by Wendy Meadows but not the first with this narrater.

Sheree Wichard was the perfect reader for this audiobook. I've listened to her before and love her work. This one was terrific with the different characterizations along with good voice inflectioms. I really enjoy listening to her. This was an overall enjoyable listen.

Dark Psychology Was An Excellent and Worthy Listen

( Master the Secret Techniques of Covert Emotional Manipulation, Stealth Persuasion, and Mind Control )

Dark Psychology was an excellent listen. It was three hours that went by too fast as it was packed with straightforward information without any waste. I agree with the author S.L. Moore about the tactics used by the people mentioned in this audiobook. I've seen this repeatedly and recognize it but sadly many wear blinders.

One of the topics touched upon was active listening. This is something that is so important and I'm not sure but it is a learned behaviour. From my own experience I like to occasionally ask the person I'm speaking to if they can repeat some of what I said.

Another couple of topics were social media and branding. The author did a fab job explaining these in relation to manipulation. Even another was self respect and body language. That to me speaks volumes. And Q's story was really good also. This was an overall EXCELLENT listen and I would recommend this all day. It's an eye-opener and perhaps for some a revelation.

Narration: Madison Niederhauser did and outstanding job reading this audiobook. These are first time author and narrator for me and they really worked well together. The narration was perfect. He spoke clearly with a great tone and voice inflections. This was a perfect match with both author and reader.

A Good Noir-ish Suspense Thriller

(A Jack Winchester Thriller, Book 4 )

I really enjoyed listening to this noir-ish thriller. It was suspenseful and hard to turn off at bedtime. I liked the character of Winchester as well as the supporting characters he was trying to help his family. I enjoyed the grittiness of the setting being in New Orleans. It was weird for me with the character of the same name as me. This is the first audiobook I've listened to in this series and by Jon Mills. I think the length was perfect. An overall great listen and I would listen to more in the series as well.

Narration: Adam Gold did an excellent job narrating this audiobook. He sounded the part almost too perfectly. A few times it may have been just a hair overenunciated but better that than under. Another thing I really liked is that I noticed that Adam Gold narrates this whole series so far. That's great as I think it connects with the listener on a better level. It shows consistency which is what I like. An overall great job and recommended listening.

I Feel Bad For This But I Have to be Honest

Audiobook: DIAGNOSIS MURDER ( Kendall, Book 7 )

I'm not sure EXACTLY what went wrong here but I can name a few possibilities unlike Kendall. I will attempt a diagnosis based on this one book, not the series. I have listened to two other audiobooks written by John Holt and enjoyed them quite a bit. Both were under two hours. Both of those audiobooks had different narrators.

This audiobook was redundant. It just seemed to go in circles. At almost nine hours, it was an arduous listen. It had either none or very little editing. Edit, edit, edit. I would've also liked more character depth. Along with that, I wasn't thrilled. Next is the narration. The reading didn't go with the story or genre. It felt disconnected.

Narrator: Mark Sando

I think he's a great reader with a strong, clear voice and good inflections but not for this audiobook. It sounded too cheery where it could've had more trepidation as if to give the listener the edge of seat feel which is what you want in a mystery thiller.

I like this author and narrator and they both have different styles. I wish them both to be very successful and if I'm being honest, I think my review is a fair assessment.

A Wonderful Rendition Of An Old Classic by HCA

The Ugly Duckling was a sweet little audiobook. I love all the classic stories from Hans Christian Andersen and this one was a goody. I hope my grandchildren will appreciate this as I and so, so many others did and still do. Perhaps this is what kids should be listening to? An overall fun and nostalgic listen with excellent narration.

Gregg Rizzo did a wonderful job reading this audiobook. He has a great voice and was pleasant to listen to.

Love Don Miguel Ruiz, Excellent As Always

I have I think five audiobooks by Don Miguel Ruiz and ALL are excellent. This makes the second written with Barbara Emrys which means I also have The Toltec Art of Life and Death. Also excellent. The one I can't wait to listen to is The Wisdom of the Shamans. It will have to wait until next month. Ah well.

One of my very favorite authors and narrated by the awesome voice of Christian Barillas.

I Love Guided Meditations & This Is a Good One

Audiobook: Guided Meditation
30 Minute Guided Meditation for Joy, Serenity, and Happiness

I loved this meditation. Everything about it was relaxing and peaceful. After having a stressful day this helped me to relax immediately and left me with an overall feeling of comfort and peacefulness. Living in Bliss Productions has it right. I will definitely be using this often. I would recommend this for anyone. You can't go wrong with this wonderful meditation.

Narration: Jeanne Pilgrim Mayo has such a soothing and relaxing voice. She has the kind of voice I like to listen to in guided as she doesn't sound too soft or harsh. She sounds exactly perfect.

Transcending the Maya Matrix Was A Great Listen

Audiobook: Transcending the Maya Matrix
Using the Seven Simple Steps: Our Innate Guide to Co-Creation & Self-Realization

I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. Transcending the Maya Matrix was an eye-opening listen that made it hard to stop listening to at night. I nearly listened all the way through in one sitting. Within this audiobook there are many pearls of wisdom that made me stop and think. I will be listening to this again as I think there's plenty that bears hearing again. This was extremely enlightening and I think anyone would find many things to love about this audiobook. Definitely recommended listening. I will watch for more books by Omar M. Makram.

I always love to hear an author narrate their own work and this was no exception. Omar has a nice, soothing voice. I thoroughly enjoyed him reading his work. It meant so much more. I'll also be checking out his podcasts.

Watching You Was An Intriguing Listen

Audiobook: Watching You
This was an intriguing listen. There were a few things I didn't understand. In the story I wasn't sure how much time passed. Simon was a recurring character but I had him confused with some of the other men names such as David. While listening, I found myself drifting at times then something would grab me back in. If I'm being honest then I would've liked more character development and more editing as this was over 9 hours. The story was edgy but for me, not edge of my seat. It was still very good and I would recommend it.

Narration: Rosie Akeman made this audiobook so much better. She has excellent voice inflections and a terrific voice. I really enjoyed listening to her. At times it was her that kept me listening.

The Spitit of Imhotep:Lucid Dreams & Spititual War

Audiobook: The Spirit of Imhotep ( Lucid Dreams & Spiritual Warfare, Book 1
This was a very interesting audiobook. I'm not sure if it was meant to be a little interactive. I loved the idea of lucid dreaming and how this was woven into the story. For me it started out a little slow but picked up fairly quickly. I love where Maria Isabel Pita is going with this series and hope to listen to more of it. I especially enjoy the overall themes of her books.

Narration: I love that Maria Isabel Pita narrated her own audiobook. She has a beautiful voice and displays not only a wonderful ability to write but also excellent voice acting skills. Definitely recommended.
