Shadows of the Past

The first time I listened to a book by this author and I truly enjoyed it. It had everything I love in a novel: mystery, suspense, faith, and clean romance. By the end I had only identified one of the villains, so that was nice to be truly surprised. The narrator gave an excellent performance.

Fatal Mistake

Wonderful start to a new series. So thankful Mrs. Sleeman’s books are available in audio. The narrator was outstanding. The romance was sweet and clean. The suspense was riveting. Looking forward to the remainder of the series.

Books of this genre are wonderful faith building tools as well as entertaining. This author is new to me and I'm so blessed to have found him. This novel was riveting from start to finish. Noah, his family, church and friends are quite memorable. I'm definitely looking forward to all books by this author that I can find in audio form. The narrator was also outstanding.

The Tuscan Child

Such a rich story. The reader is transported to Tuscany. I loved the story of Sir Hugo and Sofia. I loved the story of Joanne in Italy and how her future was shaping up. The narrators were superb. It added an extra depth to the story when the male narrator read the chapters about Sir Hugo and a female narrated the chapters about Joanne. Surprisingly I enjoyed this book even more than I have enjoyed the series Mrs. Bowen. I'm looking forward to more books like this.

Seagrass Pier

Mrs. Coble is one of my all time favorite authors. This was a wonderful series. This book will hook the reader from the first sentence. There were several twists and turns that were not red herrings. The ending is intense and eye opening. The characters were endearing and memorable. Mrs Coble's books are always clean. The narrator was outstanding, too. As always looking forward to many more by this author.
