Really interesting

This was a very interesting, non-fiction historical book. I really appreciated how the author interweaved actual quotes as he described events

Typical Cornwell - good story

Good storylIne; Interesting historical note at the end. It was good to hear the Christians do something good, once in a while.

Typical C. S. Lewis

I love his writings, even the fiction. Great story line but narration pretty bland

Great book!

Sorry to know it's the last of the series. I'll think of King Arthur's legend very differently now.

One of his best!

I am a huge fan of Mr. Cornwell and this is one of his best. I also love Mr. Keeble's narration. He does a wonderful job with voice changes and emotion

Wonderful book!

Mr. Qureshi's explanation of Islam, both the good and bad, is very helpful to those who don't understand it. It is good to hear how devout and peace-loving Muslims live. His description of how he analyzed and weighed the truth of Islam and Christianity was informative. His description of God's love helped me connect even more with Jesus.

Great book

Really enjoyed hearing a woman's perspective of the Civil War from women who put themselves at risk just as much as the men. The narrator did a great job as well.

A desperately needed message

For anyone struggling with the Christian /LGBT issue, this is a must-read. The author has lived in both worlds and so brings a unique, loving, and honest perspective teaching us how to live in the tension of grace and truth.

Great read but in depth

Great book! I loved the movie too. The author does a great job at explaining the complexities of sub-prime mortgage bonds and keeps the story interesting through the main characters. It is in depth so I wouldn't recommend it for light reading.

Good introduction to The Gospels.

The narrator did a great job. The music between chapters got old fast. The story was a little too clean for my liking. Jesus lived in the same messy world we do. The book had some messiness in it but not much. Plus the hero managed to be involved in many of the big moments of the Gospels (e.g. Jesus walking on water). To me, that was just not believable.
