characters realistic but interesting.

You think you know the truth but end up second guessing yourself several times. Detailed and thought provoking.

Interesting and surprising.

Narrator was excellent. Interesting insight into the world of student loans, law schools, and lawyers, even though I thought the characters were a little too comfortable breaking the rules. I recommend this book if you like law stories. :-)

easy to listen to - but actual food info left out

review of the first part of the book was well done. I wish they had summarized the actual food recommendations too.

Humanity vs racism

Very interesting setting. Disturbing to hear about the racism that had been considered so acceptable in America years earlier. Well written, bringing out the humanity of several of the characters.

A good read.

Easy to follow while still very interesting. I liked the narrators varying accents. I always enjoy John Grisham.
