loved the book but not the performance
The book was excellent but the narrator would speak to softly in some parts and could not hear what he was saying. Then I would turn the volume up and he would speak in a booming voice that was too loud.
Enjoyed the story but the recording was rough
I enjoyed listening to the story of Chip and Joanna Gaines. However, the sound would get loud then really soft so it was difficult to listen to in the car and constantly adjust the volume.
Another good one from Sparks
Good story by Nicholas Sparks. It kept me engaged throughout the entire book. The narrator was so easy to hear and understand.
Good narration, boring story
The narrator was very good, but I just couldn't stay interested in the story. There were a lot of side scenes that didn't take the plot anywhere. Then there would be one that was pretty interesting and add to the story. I kept thinking the story would get better because the summary sounded interesting, but it never went anywhere and the conclusion was disappointing.

The story was interesting right from the beginning, and the audio was excellent. Two French sisters surviving WWII in their own way.
Good story excellent narrator
The story was kind of slow in places, but it was also very entertaining in others. The narrator was excellent using different accents and very easy to hear and understand.
Its mysterious and interesting. It reminds you of when you thought things were magical as a child.
