Oh My Goodness

This is one of the best books I have read in quiet sometime! It is one of those books that is hard to follow up! I wish that I would open up cupboards, cabinets, books etc. and find treasures. What fun that would be.

This book is about a singing contest that the local choir could have, should have won if only they could have some faith in themselves. But a murder can have an affect on anyone's performance! This is a good story, enjoy!

A New Found Series by A Favorite Author

I love Rhys Bowen and this series fits me perfectly!! I highly recommend it! I found myself quietly cheering for Brownwen, just when they seem to be making some head way something happens and it is back to square one! I like these books!

Not My Favorite

I usually love, adore Mr. Backman's books, but this one just failed to hit the mark for me. He made his point in the first few chapters that Beartown was a unique place all of it's own. High school athletes are above all rules and are allowed to get away with the unthinkable. The author spends way to much time winding up the ending, I skipped 3 or four chapters and joyfully made it to the end. I won't be re-reading this one. It wasn't worth the credit.

New Favorite Books

These are my new favorite books! They are very well written, although the "who did it" is usually quite clear early on. I love Jack's easy way of doing things. These are just a good easy read! I highly recommend them!

Tisk, Tisk, What's an old Maid to do?

These too old maids are just my favorite characters ever!! The one never speaks a word and the other wants to handle things just right. So they handle it things to that way ward husbands are shamed into doing the right thing. It just makes me giggle!! I hope you enjoy it as well!
