Bianca Amato is incredible!

Lovely story but BA makes a very good story into and incredible story. Thoroughly enjoyed this romance and mystery combo. Well worth a credit.

Much lengthier than it needed to be

Not a very well developed storyline as not much happened throughout the book except a 45 min piece two hours before the end. Took me days to finish when I take only a day to finish books double this length when engaging. Good performance. I’m sorry that the story holds her stars back as well.

Very slow start, excellent ending

I admit for the first 6 hours the only thing that kept me going was loyalty to Julie Klassen and believing her books are always great. Finally when 8 hours were left, the book became very interesting. The secrets began to reveal themselves and the characters began to change. As a mother I could identify with the mom and as someone who has been a teenager in the past, I could identify with the heroine. The book ended beautifully and I am glad I did not give up.
The narrator was excellent as well but somehow she did not finish the narration. Someone else did the last chapter and it was disappointing. Almost like a surgeon who does all the work and then hands off the final suturing to the nurse and walks away. Strange but that’s how the book ended.

Lovely story

I admire the highlander men. Chivalrous and protective of their families and women. Storyline was predictable but still very enjoyable. Michael Caine did an amazing job. Yes I know the pseudo name is different but it’s Michale Caine alright. I had no idea how talented he was as an actor until I heard him perform with audibles. He is incredible. ❤️

A surprise narrator. Michael Caine is WINDERFUL

He uses a pseudo name but I can say with certainty it his his voice. He took this book from great to extraordinary. What an amazing performance and storyline.

When I first began to listen I was disappointed that it was going to be yet again about one girl liking two men, in this case two brothers. As the story went on I realized that was where the similarities ended and I can not be more happy I did not give up on this gem. I can easily say this is the best book I have read by Julie Klassen and it will remain in my heart for many years to come.

One of Julie Klassen’s best stories

Interesting all the way through the book. After reading her books one after another, I’m still not tired of these wonderful stories or the way they are told. Looking forward to my next

Should have been 3 hours shorter

Story was ok overall however I feel had it been shorter it would have been much more interesting. I actually stopped listening after the Love was FINALLY confessed.
Story began with girl loved boy and boy did not know it. Then man loved woman and she did not know it. She decided to “have some fun” and improve herself for her last season however in the process she became somewhat unlikable and rude and even told the hero not to call her the nickname he had called her all her life since it was not appropriate and threw him out of her house during a party, after an argument. During her “change” She also became super ungrateful and hurtful towards the hero even though he was her escort to the balls. However her personality is turned around and explained off as not being that of a super arrogant and nasty person to make her appear like an angel by a friend of the hero stating how she defended his super rude and arrogant sister (whom she copied) and her own sister. I guess that was to explain how nasty she had been all along and that, of course, was supposed to excuse it all and everyone goes on happy and the hero apologizes for calling her out. 😂🤣. So I did not like her character. It was not constant. I personally can not see the attraction to someone so changeable with their clothing and hair style.

An inspirational religious book

Don’t expect gratuitous sex when reading this book. The love is beautifully depicted, the physical intimacy is not, however, missed at all. Very well done.
