Awright

Well written treatment of those impediments to living well and keeping our fingers out of others’ pies, as well as our own. How important could it be, anyway?
Good write, easy worthwhile listen.

Islandic is pretty difficult!!!

This is soo difficult and soooo much fun! I am thoroughly enamored with Pimsleur language learning programs. The changes in Japanese and French words were more easily deciphered. Icelandic not so easily distinguished. We'll see when I get there.

Probably one of my least favorites.

What would have made Eat That Frog! better?

Probably new information would have helped.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Anything entertaining

Would you be willing to try another one of Brian Tracy’s performances?

Probably not

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Eat That Frog!?

The whole premise

Any additional comments?

Just not on my list of favorites.

Spellbinding.

Would you listen to The Unknown Shore again? Why?

Six or nine times because I hear something new each time and the story is so excellently written and narrated. I love Patrick O'Brian's wordsmithery.

What other book might you compare The Unknown Shore to and why?

Don't know, other than Cold Mountain, it's just one of my favorites.

What about Patrick Tull’s performance did you like?

Virtually everything.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

One really vicious trip through a frozen hell and back again.

Any additional comments?

I'll most likely listen to it again...and again.

Supurb!

If you could sum up The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in three words, what would they be?

Really excellent listen.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

At the outset I kept waiting for something to happen bu when it started to happen I was hard pressed to unplug and go to work!

What does Simon Vance bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Excellent narration and presentation of the story while I'm driving...just don't like to read and drive at the same time.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When the jerk killed the cat! A dead, mutilated cat just tells you that this is going to get really ugly.

Any additional comments?

Splendid.

Classic Burke

What did you love best about Feast Day of Fools?

The plot and the characters and, as always, Burke's use of the language - his wordsmithery is incredible and an absolute pleasure to behold either visually or auditorily.

What other book might you compare Feast Day of Fools to and why?

Bitterroot - multiplicity of schemings and plottings happening at the same time, overlapping and intertwining.

Have you listened to any of Will Patton’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yup, comparable and excellent, as usual.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Classic James Lee Burke - I think I said that.

Any additional comments?

Excellent - right up there with the many others I've read/heard.
