I wish this were not abridged

This is the first audible book that I listen to that is abridged. Audible does not have the full version of this book. It was obviously a great story but it just felt so choppy and rushed! I don’t think I will purchase any more abridged books......

Mary Balogh is an Automatic for me

I love Mary Balogh, I think I have every book that Audible has of hers. This particular series is very good. The heroine of this story is older, which I find appealing. Of course, the combination of Mary Balogh and Rosalyn Landor is unbeatable!

I love Anne Gracie’s writing.

Ms. Gracie has once again woven a story that is truly enjoyable. The narration from Alison Larkin is once again wonderful! I am so glad that she was asked to narrate this book.

I loved this book!

Kelly Bowen is fast becoming an automatic buy for me. I loved this story. The heroine’s strength, intelligence, and independence was wonderful. I hope that the secondary characters in this book get their own story!

Emotional Listen for me....

From the moment I heard about this book, I knew I had to read it. This is the story of a Cuban American family and the legacy of the revolution on them. The story changes from the present to the time of the revolution (1958-59). The book is meticulously researched and written in a very compelling way. I could imagine myself having all the feelings and emotions of the modern day, Marisol, as she returns to Cuba. This book engulfed me for the entire time I was reading it. The narration was very good. I thought having 2 narrators was excellent. Definitely worth a credit!😊

I love Kristan Higgins

Where does Catch of the Day rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Her books are full of funny, quirky characters. There are many laugh out loud moments and some tear jerker moments. Really enjoyed this book.

Thoroughly enjoyable

This was a wonderful listen! I thoroughly enjoyed the story. It had all the elements, angst, comedy, deep romance. It will be one that I will read again. As usual, Justine Eyre did a wonderful job with narration.

Very enjoyable!

I was a bit dubious about this book because it is a debut novel. I was very pleasantly surprised. Ms. Berne's writing was excellent and of. Purse Carolyn Morris did a great job as narrator.
