Action, Suspense, Romance & Mystery - A Must Read

Talia's journey continues in book 3. This series gets better with each book, if that is possible. Talia is starting to question everything she knows and isn't sure she wants to know the answers. Tons of info revealed in this book but still lots of questions unanswered. I am completely invested in these characters and can't wait to find out what happens next. Filled with action, suspense, romance and mystery - Talented is a must read series!!!

Great Series Starter

What an exiting start of series. I had a hard time putting this one down - I quickly became invested in the characters and needed to know what happened. It is a fast paced story that will keep you engaged from start to finish. The narration is on point in bringing the story and characters to life. I look forward to more in this series and from this author.

Fantastic for Middle School age & up

It is not often that I find a story that appeals to both me and my 13 yr old son but we both agree that Afterlife Academy was a great listen. It kept us engaged from start to finish and we found it hard to stop listening because we were so invested in the characters and wanted to know what would happen next. The narrator did a fantastic job bringing the story and characters to life. I hope there are more stories about the Afterlife Academy

Interesting Cases

My review is based on the audiobook. The 2 cases in this story are really interesting but Marco's constant boo hooing poor me attitude takes over the story. I would have liked more of the cases and less of the relationship. The narration was great bringing the story and characters to life. This was my first book by this author and I look forward to more.

Great Prequel

Day of the Destroyer is a great prequel. It is interesting to read how Destroyer began. I actually feel bad for him at some points. I enjoyed all of the characters new and old. I took 2 stars off the story because of the unnecessary and out of place sex scenes that did nothing to advance the story. I get that it takes place in the 70's but it could be tones down a little. Also I did not like how one of the characters was raped and then a few days later is throwing herself at and having sex with a guy she just met. I understand she is grateful to this guy for helping her in a time of need however she was a virgin when she was raped so it is extremely uncharacteristic of her to be promiscuous. I would seriously recommend the author re-write her part to show how a real rape victim would behave. Other than that The narration is great with good pacing and easy to understand character voices. I look forward to more in the series.

Wonderful Series

This is a great series following Ryn's journey to find Grace and discovering and coming to terms with her powers. I recommend reading in order so that you get the full story. I really enjoy the world the author has created. The narration was on point, easy to understand and perfect pacing. The author does a great job progressing the story but still leave the reader wanting more. I am excited to see where the next book leads
