Great book 2!

I just love this unique series and Trisha and Slade’s story is exciting, romantic and sexy. Trisha is the New Species doctor at Homeland. She first met Slade when he came to her ER severely injured when he was freed from the testing facility. Unfortunately, when she comes to work for the New Species he doesn’t remember her. She miffed and he’s always teasing her. Then on a trip to the Reservation, they are attacked by anti-Species fanatics, run off the road and down into a deep ravine in the wilderness. As they attempt to escape from the men hunting them they become more intimate. After their rescue, Slade never contacts Trisha which hurts her badly. Then an unexpected consequence of their time in the wilderness is suddenly evident and they are forced back into the same circle. Great narration!

Interesting sci-fi romance

I enjoyed this audiobook, though I think it could have used more of a backstory. The heroine is a human whose spaceship crashed on the Korystus planet. The survivors were taken captive by the inhabitants and are used as pets and sex partners, which the heroine resents. The hero is a Senator on this planet and he buys her as a pet. He’s torn emotionally between what he feels is right and what others in power feel the humans deserve. Above it all there is a powerful attraction between them. Narration was well done.

Another great Zandian romance!

This audiobook was pretty hot, just FYI. Tomas has been sent to find Master Seke’s daughter. When he finds Talia, she’s in some kind of Zandian mating fever. He tries to resist her but just doesn’t have enough willpower. After taking her for his mate, they find another Zandian female, whose 3 mates are deviously plotting to keep Talia. Narration was well done.

Great romance!

I enjoyed this audiobook by Susan Stoker. The heroine has had a rough life, and when she’s kidnapped by a sex trafficking ring the Mountain Mercenaries are on the job to find her. The hero slips onboard a boat they suspect is being used in the trafficking, but what he finds is the heroine herself handcuffed to a bed. One of the traffickers sets off a bomb and he has to rescue her from the sinking ship. There still is the problem of the man who paid for her to be kidnapped and his obsession with her. Meanwhile the attraction is growing deeply. Great narration!

Not my favorite, but still good

I have always enjoyed Susan Stokers stories about brave men protecting women. For some reason, this story didn’t keep my attention as well as previous books. I felt the story was rather simple and lacked much in the way of fleshing out the characters in the way I was used to her writing. It was still an enjoyable listening experience, but it could have been more. Narration was well done.

Great story!

I loved this audiobook story about Jack Deveaux and Summer. Jack is Isabel’s brother who also survived the Washington massacre. Summer runs into a homeless vet at Hector Blake’s funeral and recognizes him as Jack, who everyone thought had died. They are soon on a action filled journey, racing the clock to stop Chinese terrorists from taking down the US. And while they are on the trip, they fall in love. Narration was excellent.

I just loved it!

This audiobook in the Midnight series was really well done. The heroine is on the run from a crazy drug lord. The hero is a lonely tough guy who hasn’t had much love in his life. He falls for her but is too shy to pursue her. She falls for him and wonders why he isn’t. Then something happens to set it all in motion. Can he protect her from a danger they don’t even know exists? Great narration!

Another winner!

I just love Lisa Marie Rice and her style of writing! This audiobook was entertaining and had just the right amounts of romance and suspense. Metal (Sean) and Felicity meet when Felicity comes to Lauren’s door terribly wounded. Metal is a trained medic and takes care of her while she is recovering, both of them falling for each other. They have to try to figure out who is after Felicity, who by the way, is a computer genius. Loved the story and can’t wait till I listen to the next book!

Good sci-fi romance

This audiobook was a good story, but not a great one. The biggest thing that bothered me was the narration of the male voice. It really needed a strong male voice to match the character. There was a lot made of in the story about the hero’s father, but in the end that was kind of brushed aside. If there had been more of a conclusion to that it would have been a better ending. Overall a good listen.

Angst filled romance!

I really enjoyed this audiobook. The second in a series, the heroine is a woman with a history of severe abuse by her mother as a child. As a result she’s withdrawn and shy. The hero is a Navy SEAL who meets the heroine at a work function he attended with his then spoiled girlfriend. After she saves him in a fire, he breaks up with his girlfriend and starts to pursue Alabama. But when a crisis occurs he makes a huge mistake and Alabama disappears. Can Abe find her and get her forgiveness? Narration was well done.
