Strong, action packed, & believable story!!
Foundation to storyline was well-laid by Jake Bible. After having heard several of his available audiobooks, I’ve learned that this author does not write the same old thing over and over, but each one I’ve heard was like a finger print. Similar but distinctly different!
The narrator Andrew Wehrlen, has the well seasoned voice for excellent narration. He does a masterful work when speaking the different voices for each gender or nationality.
This book in itself, was really unique that how it involves military, science fiction, and time travel in one story, and never leaves earth!
I wouldn’t recommend this book for anyone under 18 due to, language, adult situations, and blood.
I do recommend this book for any adult who wants to hear a good fiction story that actually could happen !
Straight forward adventure
A direct plain spoken rough riding story. Excellent narration and each action is followed thru with closer. Much like a well performed orchestral movement. Not recommended for people under 17 years of age.
This audiobook was given to me freely at my request, and I freely give my opinion of it.
Poor recording quality. Narrator has good annunciation, but did not show good editing skills. Use of a good wind mask on microphone would help. A 15-20 % reduction of high frequency with a 5% increase in low frequency would help a lot.
Recommended for audiences 21 and older

Surprisingly good story
Did not like how it took 1.5 chapters to describe some characters. That could have easily been done as book progressed, though the writer may have felt that was necessary. In video games, main characters usually start with few skills, low ratings, and poor strengths. They are introduced and awarded as game progresses. Was hard to follow at first, but gradually built into a strong storyline. I grew to enjoy it quite a lot.
Would not recommend this to under 17 yrs old audience due to several adult situations and descriptions. I did like how characters developed friendships.
I was given this audiobook for free, and I do freely give my evaluation and rating under no coercion or receiving reward other than getting to keep the copy I listened to for evaluation.
An Exciting Fantasy with a Surprise ending
Storyline begins rather slow, but escalated into an action fantasy that sometimes has surprising twists to it. Definitely needs a following book
Recommended for 17+ years audience

An intriguing Fantasy
Narrator did an excellent vocal change for each character, regardless of their age or gender!
Good storyline, though sometimes easy to lose, if readers are not focused on listening
Recommended for 17 yrs or older

Truly a story of a definite Rapscallian
Story line has you rooting for the main character, though they’re not the sort decent people usually acquaint themselves with.
Several adult situations in the story
Not recommended for children or teens as main Character is a bad role model.
Situations are well thought out by author. Very inventive!

Totally action packed story
The series of events that built the story were well thought out.
Mr Wehrlen did an excellent job of narration. The voice differences were superb.
Recommended for 17 years or older due to strong language and sexual suggestiveness.
Full of political intrigue
Not a light story. As plot thickens, attention must be given to narrative, in order to maintain awareness and direction of storyline. Definitely worth the time it takes. As the last book in a trilogy, the end is well written, giving a smooth closure.
Recommended for 16 & older.

Nonstop action ‘
Well written, but could’ve use viewpoints from other characters along with quotes. There was some, but more would’ve been good.
The “S” rating was so nondescript, it could have gone I acknowledged.
Because of war type violence this would be recommended for 17 or older listeners.
