Fun, but not a repeater
The story was mildly engaging but Han Solo in all the movies was so self assured, confident and optimistic but Older made him almost "Homer Simpsonish", He comes across as incompetent and blundering, nothing like the real Solo.
Marc Thompson does a spectacular narration, Daniel Jose Older should have just left it there. Older is a decent author but a narrator for a star wars novel he is not. January LaVoy does a good job as well but Marc Thompson is def the stand out.
I love the audio extras. It is fun to hear blaster fire and back ground noise in the audio. Love that in the star wars books.

Listened to it twice back to back!
I thought the cover looked cool so I started listening. I had no idea what it was about but I absolutely loved it.
The story was engaging and Jackson's narration is top notch.
I had never read or heard anything from Jacka or Jackson before but now they have become two of my favorites.
I have purchased and listened to all 8 in the series and eagerly await the release of the next.
More profanity than I care for only reason Overall is short 1 star
EXEACTLY WHAT I WAS IN THE MOOD FOR
THIS WAS A GREAT LISTEN. I WAS IN THE MOOD FOR A STORY WHERE THE GOOD GUYS WIN FLAT OUT. NONE OF THE FAVORITE CHARACTERS WERE KILLED. AND LIGHTSABERS BLAZE. . .
What made the experience of listening to Star Wars: Smuggler's Run the most enjoyable?
This is a fantastic read/listen. The audio book is narrated by Marc Thompson who's performance is excellent.
The story is short, action packed and moves very well. Rucka does a great job of capturing the personalities and characteristics of the characters of Han and Chewbacca. It feels like 'them'
This is a story that can be listened to again and again.
