I hoped for more

Any additional comments?

I have been waiting a while for this book to come out as an audiobook. Sadly it has . I hoped for so much more. The premise is good, there is so much that could have been done with the storyline and characters. I just could not get into it. That's not to say there are no redeeming qualities to it. It was a decent listen . If there had been more complexity to the story with a bit more world building, the story could have been greatly enhanced. As well as the characters .

How many times can one poor wizard get his butt kicked? Many many times. This is a great new series. The first book has a wonderfully complex plot with many characters . A great storyline to follow an excellent narration. I can't wait till the next one.

Another win for Jane Yellowrock.

Any additional comments?

I can't get enough of Jane Yellowrock. Her story is never dull. She has found her way into the middle of vampire politics. And with that comes great trouble. In this installment, Jane and her new drive must once again save the city. The European vampires are on the warpath. And only Jane Yellowrock can stop them. Excellent storyline with a wonderful plot twist here and there , and wonderful narration as always.

Amazingly strange

Any additional comments?

The head! What a crazy story . Funny and a little bit horrific , but in the best possible way. I can't give away anything , it being a short story . I will only say that it was an enjoyable read , that also made me laugh . Well worth the time spent listening. Now I have to get the next book. “I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”

An overall 3 1/2.

Any additional comments?

Short story collection with a few good ones and a few not so good ones. Overall I would give the entirety a 3 1/2 . A few of the stories just didn't have enough substance. Short stories don't have to be long to be good , but some needed just a bit more to them.“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”

Skillfully dark

Any additional comments?

Didn't we always feel that Pan held darkness? In this tale Wendy's granddaughter Madge finds out that he does. A dark retelling of Peter Pan . Enjoyable and a little bit creepy. It will change how you view the classic Peter Pan story. Good narration and good storyline.“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”

Go-go little goddess.

Any additional comments?

Girl power rocks. This is a YA fantasy that touches on themes of women being undervalued. Throughout the story our heroine proves over and over that women can be strong. Great concept , excellent narration and totally enjoyable.“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”

The sea calls.

Any additional comments?

A different kind of paranormal romance. The beginning of it full of slow angst. Keep going in the story heats up. A New World is explored and discovered. And the new love and a new life . Good narration and a good fresh storyline. I am interested to see what happens next.“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”
