The Long Way Hope

The plot is cops seeking a serial killer. The book is really well written and much more complicated. You will like the characters. Read it.

Coma Girl

I read some of the chapters of Coma Girl but found it even better in audio. Parts of the story are funny. The author does a good job of portraying the slow passage of time. A couple of crossover events with the Body Movers series made the story more fun. Well worth a credit.

Broken but not Beaten

What did you love best about Broken?

The story is good. The book is even better due to its exploration of how people and families live with mental illness.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Broken?

Not that I liked what she said, but James' mother portrays many people's opinions when she lectures James during his hospitalization.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Joel Leslie?

I listen to Joel Leslie's books often. I find his voice whiny but he tells the story well.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me proud of both Theodore & James.

Nicholas' Point of View

The many hours from Nicholas' point of view seem to be repetitive of Sara's story. There is not a lot extra material in Nicholas' story. He spends a lot of time trying to protect Sara from all dangers of the career he is training Sara to become.

I have read many of the PsyCop short stories. Listening to them gives a new perspective. If you like the longer books, then you have to buy this one. Volume 2, here I come.

Emily's Latest Adventure

Study in Slaughter is book 3 of Schooled in Magic series on audio. There will be more to come. I am happy since this story was at least as good as the first two. Emily meets a shape shifter in 2nd year. There are new teachers and new students to meet. Well worth a credit.
