The world of Roak from a different view

Bible has created a galaxy to rival Star Wars. It’s grittier and darker and a helluva lot of fun to travel through. The books are standalone but when you read/listen to them all you get a bigger picture that is well worth the time and credits invested in it. This particular tale is that of a galactic intelligence operative that is at the top of his game, however little does he know that he has been setup and that he is in for the fight of his life. Intrigue, aliens, battles and more await. Use this as an intro to this amazing galaxy or if you’ve been here before than enjoy there shared characters and worlds and their new adventures. Terminator/IRobot with a twist

Terminator and IRobot both showed us what happens when machines take over...but what happens when those machines are coffee makers, copier machines, and humanoid robot janitors/scarecrows etc. Junkers answers that with a wild and weird romp through a future dominated by robots that handle all the tasks for people that they don’t wish to do (most of them). And when your robot goes bad? Who you gonna call? The team that handles the rogue robots. Now there is a huge plot that could bring about the end of humanity as we know it? Will this team be enough to stop it from happening? Find out here. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

Gritty space opera

Take Star Wars, cross it with starship troopers and then mix in the merchant marines, foreign legion, and it’s kind of like that. Take a group of criminals who are doing their tour under a corporate contract for their sentences to be commuted they come across some situations that are far beyond the norms and could make them rich enough to buy their contracts out. But with great rewards come tremendous risks. Will the danger be too much? Will they survive?

Time line issues and dinosaurs

What happens when the time lines of the universe have issues? You get flashbacks, dinosaurs coming to the modern land, death and destruction on a massive scale. Great serial stories compiled into one listen. Really enjoyed the plot and the characters were well suited to the style of story. Whena master manipulator plots for the election

When a dark descendant of Dracula inherits his mantle, he decides that he will get himself elected as president and rule the nation. How’s he going to go about it? Easy, create a massive upsurge in crime and terror that are beyond the police ability to handle, then create a force of concerned citizens who take matters into their own hand and miraculously manage to catch and beat/Kill the perpetrators of the majority of these crimes. Be the candidate supported by this group. Who will stand against you? The man who is a poor imitation of Walt Disney and his master scientist and the trio of supers that he created. What a wild romp. Worlds collide to those who can see them

We live in a world and we see what we wish to see. Our minds automatically block our awareness from seeing things that don’t belong. What happens when we awaken from that state? What happens when our friend sets us up with a woman who is in reality a soulless dark warrior who routinely slaughters people? What do you do when you go to a meeting where a person is actually being sacrificed to a dark entity? Well in most cases you have a mental breakdown and go to the loony bin. Our hero gets a magical fairy sword and dives wholeheartedly into this mixed world, with very mixed yet hilarious results. Don’t listen while driving on a back road

We have all seen them. A car on the side of the road with a cloth on the window, a person sitting in a vehicle with the hood up, a car up on jack with a wheel off and no one around. Most of us just keep going, some of us may give some small thought to the matter, a rare souls may stop to help. Maybe nothing happens and they go on their way with a good deed done. Maybe something does happen. Maybe it was the jackals. The jackals are a part of the natural order. As is the hunter. This is a chapter in their story in history. And a dark chapter it is, in a darker story. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

Midnight in a perfect blend of author and narrator

Ambrose Ibsen is a master of the terrifying and creepy. If H.P. Lovecraft were here today the two of them could collaborate on the greatest works of horror our world would ever know. Add to that a narrator with the range and ability to convey that terror from your ears to your soul and you have midnight in a perfect world. For this who have seen silent hill you will have a better way of adding the imagery to your minds eye. The veil between two worlds and the god hand is weakening, he is almost free, a new drug has hit the streets and it is breaking through the veil that blinds the mind and is blending the worlds faster and faster. To what end? Find out at midnight. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

Great way to pass an hour or so

This one lasted a one way commute for me to work. I found it a great window into a world where magic and reality mix together and various groups are out there that help contain its more dangerous aspects. This is a story of one such device and the person who seeks it. Enjoy it. I did

Fantasy rpg/LITRPG at to finest

3rd book in an ongoing series but doesn’t require the others as I found it quite enjoyable as is. The story seems to blend fantasy as well as a bit of science fiction into it. The people appear to be sort of immersed in what they believe is a game yet appears to produce items used by the rest of the universe in some galactic war. The characters and the adventures are great, the guild is a raid guild and they are top notch. They go against other guild and have allies and assistants in the forms of Npc and ai’s. Well written and well narrated.
