Great Start Of A Fun Series

I very much enjoyed this first in a new (to me) mystery series. I sometimes wanted to slow the recording when the narration got a bit too speedy, but over all, the audiobook was a pleasure. And, I love the setting in the Scottish Highlands!

Intelligent and Interesting Mystery!

Hermes, aka “the fat man,” is an intelligent and very intuitive character. The author really brings him to life in these mysteries, along with all the fabulously authentic Greek villagers she portrays. Very well done. I plan to read all the mysteries in this series. It’s a winner!

Wonderful Protagonist Well Portrayed

This series is new to me. It took a while for me to warm to “the fat man,” but now I’m totally hooked and plan to read them all! If you love Donna Leon’s Brunetti, you will doubtless enjoy these mysteries.

Bruno Just Gets Better and Better!

I love this series and really enjoy the narration, too. Bruno and his little French town get me every time! It’s too bad we get only one of these per year!

Frustrating narration of a compelling story...

I don’t know who was in charge of quality control on this audiobook project, but the droning tone and repetitive cadence of this narration spoiled this otherwise compelling and interesting novel for me and I couldn’t finish it.

Brilliant Wrap Up of a Stellar Series

I enjoyed this final book of Ghost Gifts. Laura Spinella did an excellent job of wrapping up this fascinating series. I’m kind of sad that the series is finished! I thought the narration was excellent, production values perfect, but all three books have been wonderfully done by Nicol Zanzarella. I’m not sure how much Scott Merriman added to the story, as Zansarella’s male voices have always been very nicely done. Bravo, Ms. Spinella! I look forward to more wonderful stories!

The Best Yet!

I really enjoy the Bennett Sisters mysteries and I particularly love merle and her Frenchman pascal. This mystery was really exceptional and filled with wisdom and heart as well as suspense. Thank you, Lise McClendon, for another terrific story!

Another Winner!

Juliet Blackwell and Xe Sands deliver another winning title. While not my absolute first favorite of the delightful Witchcraft Series, this is fast paced, engaging and overall wonderful. Thanks, Ms. Blackwell! Your hard work brings hours of fun and relaxation.

Another Great LIsten from Laura Spinella

This novel is real page-turner! I loved it. It kept me awake all night, unable to stop listening until dawn lit my bedroom. The characters shine. The story lingers. It looks like the next installment in this series will not focus on these characters, and that makes me sad. But I look forward with great interest to the next Spinella. I hope you enjoy ForeTold as much as I did.
