Covers every detail of his life

Story is well written and Thorensen provides exact details of all the evolution of each book. In some cases the emphasis is over dramatized but you eagerly await the next chapter. I found that I would listen to each chapter and remain in the car even though I have arrived at my destination.

Thought this was not going to be good

Where does Not Alone rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The story line is well laid out and you capture the plot and it tends to suck you in. Before you know it you are ready to vault forward with anticipation of how the plot will unfold.

A great Story Line with excellent narration

What did you love best about The Lost Command?

All segments of the story line melded together and kept you eagerly wanting to finish listening all in one day.

What other book might you compare The Lost Command to and why?

B. V. Larson's series Mercenaries kept you awaiting the next salvo

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes it was and in a few insistence's I sat in the parking lot not wanting to stop listening for a long while.

Great series and loved the characters. Even the villains were great

You Wiill Want to Listen More Than Once

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes without a doubt. This series always builds on the previous book and keeps you spell bound regarding the many plots of which all are magnificent.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Lost Starship?

forget most memorable, the entire series captivates your attention and you keep guessing what the next twist will be.

What about David Stifel’s performance did you like?

his unique ability to give each person his or her own identity.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

All the books in the series is well worth keeping your attention and wanting to listen to the end. My problem was I travel and listen to the book and when reaching my destination I did not want to stop listening. I wold sit in the car and finish to the point where I could leave it be for the moment.

The whole series is exceptional, Narrator is great

If you could sum up Tech World in three words, what would they be?

Very Well Written

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tech World?

There are far too many to select from. One has to listen to every chapter since there are memorable moments in each one. from my prospective I eagerly await the release of the next book. If you are a new listener to this series start from the first one and I know you will get each one.

What does Mark Boyett bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His characterization of each person is individualized and introduces a sense of reality into the story line. Reading a book requires you to imagine how the characters intermingle within the story but Boyett creates the stage for you and does it well.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was listening to each chapter with enthusiasm and excitement as the story line unfolded. Boyett as narrator created the impression that you were part of the Vargus team

Any additional comments?

Larson has hit a home run with this series. If the reader likes SI FY with off world action then this is your series.

Larson Kept up the pace with this release

Where does Dust World rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Not very often an author can reproduce the intense story line and keep the reader interested in each chapter, this was a great listen on audiobook. Now on to the third installment.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Dust World?

There were far too many captivating segments to just name one. You can read each episode with enthusiasm since every book has its own twist, love the way he mingles battles with the chain of command intrigue.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listen to the book while driving about three hours each way and was ready for my next trip for wanting to listen to what McGill was doing next.

Any additional comments?

Best to start from the first book and read each in order. This way you get the full impact of the story line.

story flows and keeps your attention

What did you love best about Redshirts?

Story line was well written and kept me interested in what was next. Many twists and turns to the main line and after all said I did not want to put it down

Who was your favorite character and why?

Wil Weaton kept interest in the next step in solving what was happening to everyone and allowed the story to keep pace with events

What about Wil Wheaton’s performance did you like?

He was the story and the ending

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

You never know what stage we are playing on in our real lives

Any additional comments?

The reader should try and figure out what is happening in next chapter before listening to it. Surprises abound in this audio book

Got caught up in story once it got moving

If you could sum up Century Rain in three words, what would they be?

Grows on you, When you start to listen it has many threads that you wonder how it all fits but soon you start to understand what is happening and get captivated with the story line. If you like a single audio book without having to listen to a series then this is for you

Which scene was your favorite?

When the investigator realized that his earth was not alone it set the stage for fast action and rapid understanding of what needed to be done

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The last 20 minutes is great but cannot say more

Great listen, would highly recommend to anyone who likes to become part of what they are listening to.

Did not want to stop listening to this audio book

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes without a doubt, great story line keeps you interested. There are a few turns that were unexpected and kept me glued to the ipod.

What does Mark Boyett bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

His method of voice infliction was super and well done, he mastered the book and gave it life

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes it was but I usually listen to books as I drive, this one I wanted to sit in the car and listen without stopping.

I am waiting for the next one out in May. It is now on my wish list and will be downloaded as soon as it hits Audible

Mars cannot hold an astronaut from Earth

What did you love best about The Martian?

The story moves fast and is believable from the readers prospective. You can actually feel the pain and suffering that one man goes through to get home

What did you like best about this story?

Was believable and was very good in rationalizing what would actually happen on Mars as one person tries to fight to get home, science fiction is meant to be on the edge of reality but this story captivates you and makes you realize that this may really happne

Which character – as performed by R. C. Bray – was your favorite?

They were all good and well narrated by Bray, Just go listen to the book and you will be in a trance wanting to solve problems on Mars

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes there were many and I would not want to give anything away, a must read to enjoy. I value it by realizing that when I got home from driving my car I did not want to go inside and stop listening.
