Gimme the Anchor, Globe and Eagle

Marine Lance Scipio's is thawed again to a fate worse than death and made an officer. His story continues but major questions from the first book are barely alluded to in this second book in the Sleeping Legion series

Gimme that Old Time Marine Corp

Interesting Military Sci-Fi. In the same vein as the Forever War. Need a warrior, thaw me out an old breed Marine. Good Start to a new Series

Meh...

Routine, Clichéd, Predictable, Dull, 2-D Characters... I wish I paid more attention to the negative reviews. Had to restart countless times. Finishing this book was like finishing my Brussell sprouts as a kid.

Don't Mention de Var!

Be careful where you listen to this and keep a handkerchief on hand. Sometimes I laughed so hard I had to wipe my eyes and I would have been in trouble if I was trying to drive while listening. I can also be embarrassing to burst out laughing while riding public transit. The full cast recording with narration by Manuel to fill in any blanks. The Germans episode is the best of the series and, IMHO, one of the best examples of British comedy.

Useful Gift for an Introvert you may Know

An introvert I know...
Very useful book with great strategies. My only complaint is completing the self evaluation quizzes was difficult because of the audio book format.

She's not bad, She's just written that way

Nicci's story is fantastic. It's a story of redemption, reminding us of how grey even a fictitious world can be.

Entertaining but It's NOT BDB

I like the series so far and it's entertaining but I haven't found any really compelling, complex characters so far. I'll keep reading in hopes that she will create a new 'Butch', 'Rage', or 'Vicious'

Harm was a nasty Butthead

Great story, interesting 'Nature versus Nurture' spin. I was really happy with Layla's book time. She's been such a integral character to the whole, having a major positive impact on so many of the Brotherhood but always getting the wrong end of the stick.

It's Clobbering Time!

Trey Stone, relaxing and checking off items on his 'got done' list, has his world turned upside-down. He's arrested, PB and J are taken from his side and just when he thinks nothing else can go wrong, he finds out nearly every friend he had, has left or been forced out of the Navy and Marines. Cashiered, alone and dumped at a space port, Trey Stone's life has become the punch line of a 'things can't get any worse' joke.

The primary characters are maturing, secondary characters are fleshed out well, and the action keeps on rolling. The series is showing lots of legs and I can't wait for the next one
