You will love the audio version.

I am blind, and after I heard the movie in the theater, I was told that the visual effects were not as good as previous films in the franchise, So after I heard this audio version of the novel, I was very impressed. I am also pleased that the director of the film had a hand in writing the novel. I like his inclusion of alternate scrips, and deleted scenes, as in many of the books in the star wars series, I find that you get a deeper look into some of the characters. I was pleased to hear what look was going through since his nephew turned to the dark side, and why he was so reluctant to help the resistance. I like the look into Ren's character as well, and I was amazed at the turn in the plot that was not expected. If you have not seen the film, and are listening to this for the first time, you will be shocked at the plot twist. All in all, this book is well written, and the performance is well done as usual with all the audio novels in this series.

I am left wanting more substance and answers

it felt like eating a Hollow chocolate Easter Bunny. very empty and light weight making me wish for more books to flesh this story out

I second that “meh”

Most of the reviews I read from here are spot on... The movie was horribly written and it feels like they tried to do some patch work which hits and misses..... canto bight still sucks in my opinion as well as akbar death and the whole slow ship chase just to end it with a f.t.l torpedo with the remaining flagship!!!!! But as always was read beautifully.....

Not much difference...

If you didn't like the movie... You won't like this book... And vice versa 😊

True To Star Wars Audiobook Form!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Last Jedi to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print version but have actually preferred the Star Wars audiobooks instead due to their performances and addition of music from the movies.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Last Jedi?

I enjoyed the numerous different additions in the story, such as the prologue twist at the beginning.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was getting more detail at what happened at the end of the book/movie.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Nothing in particular

Great author. amazing voice. Crap story. Thx Rian

The author had to devote a ton of time to fixing Rian Johnsons moronic mistakes. Johnson got so caught up trying to play "gotcha" with fan boyz that he just ruined the story. Good luck to Abrams in trying to fix this idiotic debacle.
