Awful

Couldn’t get thru 3 chapters. Dick Francis would be appalled. Narrator is awful as well.

Not up to what i expected.

Only half way through - keep waiting for the plot to spark my interest - I like Felix Francis - loved his father's writings, but this one is a dud.

Different but Good!

This may be a book that appeals to women more then men, I loved it. The female doctor runs into some shady dudes who killed her patient then try to kill her and she gets even. A very satisfying ending. Because she has had a history depression, anxiety and an eating disorder, it is easy for the police to dismiss her observations and complaints. She takes matters into her own capable hands.

Slow

Too slow and I was tired of her depression and sad life situation. Very little horse storyline. Not what I expected and I did not want to finish book.

Ruined by ending

Character was interesting and very different. Took a long time to tie in the usual racing element but then very good.
But the ending... There is a valid reason I suppose for the illogical actions near the end but still not satisfying and one line at the climax pretty much ruined the whole thing for me. Particularly with the additude in the prolog.
