don't waste your time

I'm an avid audiobook listen and more than once I have found myself screaming in frustration at this book. I still haven't finished it; I am trying to suffer through. it actually could be condensed into four chapters the beginning a couple of notes from the middle and the end. This lady spent a whole chapter talking about how to arrange a flower bouquet but hasn't progressed the storyline at all and I'm on chapter 31

The story line kept me interested

Lots of interesting twists and turns. Author has a talent for painting a picture with the details. I very much enjoyed this story and would not hesitate to recommend.

just awful

this book was so unfulfilling. I know the cliff hangers after each chapter are supposed to make you want to find out more and read the next chapter. But what they do is leave you with too little of the story to be satisfied enough to want to continue. She also doesnt make her characters likeable enough to make you care about what happens to them. must be the author's first try. the last two chapters left so many gaps as well. hope she does better the next time. very unsatisfying.

overall ok

It felt slow, I found it had a hard time holding my intrerest. Personally was not fond of the character progression, they didn't seem to grow, Ella and Betty were the only two that showed any growth.

Very frustrating novel!

I did complete I Am Watching You, but it was a chore. The part I like least is the constant navel gazing by the protagonist. The story is sad from beginning to end. If there is a message in the story I missed it. The narration style is consistent with the sadness of the plot. I usually like dark psychological/suspense mysteries, but not in this case.
