Loved it

Well read. As exciting as the written version. Well paced and easy to listen to.

excellent

Nalini Singh always delivers, intelligent plots with a well thought out story arc, and sexy romance as well

Still not sure

This book is better than the first, but marginally. Not enough to go up to three stars. It’s Nalini Singh so the writing is good, but I’m just not connecting to the characters. In fact, I haven’t liked any of the main characters so far. I’ve purchased the whole series so hopefully it’ll get better as I am going to listen to them all. I’m looking forward to the next one as Judd and Brenna interest me.
The narrator has a lovely voice, but the way she narrates character speech isn’t the best. The characters don’t have individual voices, and I like individual character voices, and the way the women’s voices are narrated makes them sound like meek idiots. Maybe has something to do with the fact that I just can’t connect to any of them women, I don’t know. Onto book three.

no means no

I'm very tired, particularly in today's Weinstein climate, of books where men ignore women's requests to leave them alone/stop touching them and persist because they (the men) think that they know better than the women what she 'needs'. It's just sexual assault at the end of the day.

Too repetitive!

Have loved all of this authors books in the past but couldn’t finish this one as very repetitive. Virtually same as book one with name changes. Again couldn’t be bothered to finish it!
