What made the experience of listening to Kane's Cross the most enjoyable?

This is a fairly decent somewhat deep story with great characters, Kane, Poppy and Oliver. The story is based on PTSD, good witch and the church really good last quarter of the book. The narration was exceptional. This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. Thank you.

Poignant story complimented by the narration

Sensitive, Poignant, Gripping

Kane - the depth of emotion and character was really rich and the narration reflected this well.

Have you listened to any of Nigel Peever’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Not yet but I will be interested to look at other titles as I really enjoyed the tone and delivery - very respectful to the text.

Any additional comments?

Overall a great book and a great partnership between story and reader. I hope the reader gets to continue with this style as it was really enjoyable. A must-have for a long car journey!

Another book brought to life by Nigel

Nigel Peever once again brings a story to life with his engaging reading. The characters are vivid in the listener's mind through his interpretation, and his calm and measured narration keeps the listener reassured.
I'd like to hear more audiobooks from Nigel Peever.

Kanes cross

I didn't like this as much as the first one. There seemed to be too many characters to keep track of and the story wandered.I LOVED the narrator,Nigel Patterson!I was given this book free by the author, narrator or the publisher.
