Really Enjoyed it!

Where does Scottish Werebear, Books 1-3 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's pretty high at the top. I love the series so far!

it's Aidan and Heidi

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Alison stood against her family to help save Jamie and the others.

Any additional comments?

I had the audio version of it. This is the first time I read any shifter books. I really enjoyed the first three books of the series. I liked being able to continue reading the story. The characters were great. The shifter men super hot. Can't wait to read the next book. Great story lines, all connected. Short read but tantalizingly sweet! I'm going to look fro the 4th book that way I can read it. Keep up the great story lines. Definitely an one-click buy. If you love to read about shifters' story then this book is for you to read.

I love this Series

I listened to the first one a while back but decided to listen to it again. It was good the first time and the second time as well. The h made me a little angry after listening to it the second time. She can't get mad with him when he is doing what he was taught to do. She is the one who jumped to conclusions. He just did not correct her assumptions.Loved Aiden's story in Book 2. He falls in love and is mated to a wolf. Fun times tonight but they can't tell anyone because they are not supposed to love across species. Jamie figures it out but his story in book 3 is even more sweet if that is such a thing. He falls in love with and is mated to a human. The very human who was instrumental in his brother being kidnapped. The twist and turns this one takes are very good. The narration was spot on throughout the entire three stories. I am getting the next set. I like it when books are connected then offered as a set. It irks me to listen to one story and know that the next one will finish the first one and you have to wait on the next story. Making the box set available is so much better to keep loyal customers. I got this book via audiobook boom.

Great Book!

Any additional comments?

This is a great book; this set contains books 1-3 of the Scottish Werebear series written by Loreliei Moone and narrated by Patrick Blackthorne. This book can be listened to in one sitting if you have the time, once I started listening to it I didn’t want to put it down until the end. When romance novelist Clarice Adler hides herself away in a secluded holiday cottage to finish a book, the last thing she needs is another relationship. Imagine her surprise when she falls head over heels for the man who runs the place. Derek McMillan knows Clarice is his mate, but he's a bear shifter, and she's human, and the two simply don't mix.

The narrator Patrick Blackthorne did a great job with this book. He did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to in one sitting and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end.

If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

Three short enjoyable novellas each with a HEA

The stories are all entertaining, interesting, enjoyable and worth a listen, but to me it would have been better if this had been one book with the stories interwoven together with a little more detail and storyline.

These are 3 separate novellas combined into one book that tie into each other in the end. Especially the 2nd and 3rd stories. While each story is good, they had the potential to be really good stories.

The imagination, ideas, talent and writing are all there.

Patrick Blackthorne did a good job with the narration of these stories. Nice voice. Smooth even pace with the narration. Female voices were also good. Even though the stories all take place in Scotland there is no accent at all. Even a slight Scottish accent would have made the stories that much better.

Feels Like the 1st few Chapters of a Longer Book

They were decent stories but it really felt like the story was just getting started when it was suddenly over. It felt like the first few chapters of a book that should have been much longer. Some characters show up in later stories so you see how the stories are connected but it is very brief.

The books are set in Scotland but the narrator does not even attempt a Scottish accent. I found that I was disappointed with the narrator’s american accent. He wasn’t a bad narrator, it just didn’t fit with the story. I like audiobooks partially for the performance and love when it adds to the story and I feel like this was a missed opportunity.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
