Some really memorable moments. I liked the concept of galaxy wide civilisations obeying time dilation.
It's good because it's emotional, giving meaning to the epic galactic scale of the setting.
John Lee is amazing once again!
This is my first book from Alastair Raynolds, which I'm very glad I chose.
I highly recommend it, especially if you like space opera
House of Suns keeps you in its grip for the whole duration.
Lots of big cosmos ideas that keep you thinking all through the story. Several fantastic twists in the last chapter.
Great Narration too.
The story hinges on a lot of dialog between characters, but rather than feeling like exposition the good narrator keeps you very invested.
I have been reading Sci-Fi for over 40 years. This is the best sci-fi ever.
