Where does China Now: Doing Business in the World's Most Dynamic Market rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This book does a great job of conveying the information it needs to. It is average for the books I listen to, but that average represents a high quality because I am very selective.
What did you like best about this story?
This book gave great cultural insight into China, covering things from a number of important angles, helped build understanding, and culminating in a very positive message. It takes a very detailed and analytical approach.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
The narration was overall monotonous, and for this reason it was hard to get through it. It wasn't helped that often the writing was often laboured also.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Any additional comments?
This is honestly quite dry, but once you get past that, it is full of important insights. Sometimes a detailed approach is important, but the writing style and delivery could have been better to draw you.
