Be Entertained and Learn Lobstering

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It is easy to imagine Jessica waking up in an unfamiliar place; after that the narrator takes the book down a lane that includes well fleshed out characters, entertaining plot lines, and an education about lobstering that the listener will find absolutely engaging.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Murder, She Wrote: The Maine Mutiny?

Put on your seatbelt before it starts; it's going to be a rocky ride!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Interesting Story and Wonderfully Read

What made the experience of listening to Murder, She Wrote: The Maine Mutiny the most enjoyable?

I know all the characters in the Maine mysteries and I feel like I am at home whether Jessica Fletcher is traveling or staying at home. The mysteries wonderful to listen to as you feel as though you are in Maine with Jessica.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jessica of course

What about Cynthia Darlow’s performance did you like?

Loved her, she sounds just like Jessica sounds in all her Murder she wrote mysteries.Great accent.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

A little of both. Sadness about the murder, and funny how some of the descriptions others involved.

Any additional comments?

You can never go wrong with a Murder She Wrote mystery. Interesting, clean content and gives you hours of enjoyment if you are a fan as I am.

Another great story.

Listening to these stories makes me wish the show was still on with Angela Lansbury.

Always a great listen.

I love these books. Narration is excellent down to accents and expressions. It is nice to have so many to choose from.

Return to Cabot Cove

The only critique I have is I find it annoying that when the dialogue is being read it is just she said, he said. I like for my conversations to flow a bit better, but I enjoyed taking another trip back to Cabot Cove.

Best in the Series (That I've Read)

Would you consider the audio edition of Murder, She Wrote: The Maine Mutiny to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print so I'm not sure, but I think the Narrator is great.

What does Cynthia Darlow bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The different voices are very good. She's not EXACTLY Jessica's voice from the TV show, but she still delivers a performance that really grows on you.

Any additional comments?

This book is the best I've read in the series (also enjoyed Domestic Malice), and I think it's because it takes place actually in Cabot Cove. I think that's where these books are the strongest.
