I am a fantasy author who lives in New Zealand within sight of the magnificent Southern Alps and surrounded by sheep, mountains and badly behaved rivers. I was born in the UK, but have lived in Hong Kong, the UK and now New Zealand. I am very familiar with the Richter Scale. I started writing full time in 2013 and at the last count have self-published ten books. In 2015 my first book – The Seventh Friend – was a finalist in the Best Novel category of the Sir Julius Vogel Awards, a New Zealand fan award. I was also a finalist in the category: Best New Talent.
