About the Author Robert (Bob) Cottle has been a scholar of the Bible for over 60 years having read, studied and analysed God's word extensively during his lifetime. The discipline of reading his Bible was instilled in him at a young age. At first, a burdensome chore, but later a perfunctory habit. As the years progressed the habit matured into a pleasurable pastime exploring the detail of the God he loves and serves. Bob has been actively involved in church life from a young age and served as a lay preacher for a number of years and also as a church elder for a time. Married for 40 years, Bob and his wife Julie live in Nelson, New Zealand and have three adult children and three grandchildren – to date. In his secular life, Bob trained and worked in professional engineering then later in senior business management but is now retired from full-time employment and enjoys writing Christian books. He has five book commercially published and Bob is confident with the subject matter particularly given his extensive knowledge of the Bible. His desire is to pass on a little of this understanding for the aid of other fellow Christians for the furtherance of God’s work.
