Matthew hails from wide open skies and frozen fields where fierce storms try to challenge the resilient folks in lawn chairs enjoying the show. When he's not soaring through clouds, Matthew lays his head down in the queen city, Cincinnati.  He loves fantasy for the emotion and imagination, the power and the mystery, that they bring to a world that can seem bland and boring at times. Some of his fondest journeys have taken him to the realms of Narnia, Pern, and Middle-earth. His virtual adventuring has taken him into the realms of Azeroth, Myrtana, Dune, Tamriel, and many other legendary worlds. Ultimately though, all great fantasy will bring you back to reality with a greater perspective than before. Matthew has always had a fascination with the world's history and how it's shaped modern society. He's always wondered what details inspired the myths we tell again and again. So with a magic spark of creativity and a twist of historical perspective he set himself to craft A Tale of Mist and Shadow.
