Lynn Zubernis is a psychologist, a university professor, a proud mom -- and a passionate fangirl. She has spent the last 15 years going behind the scenes of her favorite television shows. Her previous book, "Family Don't End With Blood," includes original chapters written by thirteen Supernatural actors, including Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins, and ten passionate fans, who all wrote personal and powerful essays about the impact the show and the fandom have had on their lives. Lynn also co-edited "Supernatural Psychology" along with Travis Langley, and with partner in crime Kathy Larsen, wrote "Fangasm: Supernatural Fangirls", which chronicles their often humorous (and occasionally embarrassing) misadventures on a wild and crazy 'roadtrip through fandom' and behind the scenes on Supernatural. In between fan conventions, they also wrote a more academic exploration of Supernatural and its fans, "Fandom At The Crossroads", and edited "Fan Phenomena: Supernatural", with essays by fans, researchers, cast and crew of the show, including Misha Collins and Richard Speight Jr. Lynn also writes a column in Psychology Today and for MovieTvTechGeeks, and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Fandom Studies.
