Laurie is a New England native who once dreamed of raising her family in Europe and avoided anything that had to do with the American West (apologies to a large chunk of the USA). Today, she's a walking testimony to God’s sense of humor, since she now lives quite happily in Montana with her husband, two teenage daughters, one sweet-hearted Alaskan Malamute, two horses, and any number of chickens. Her debut novel, TINSEL IN A TANGLE, was first published through Clean Reads in 2017 and later republished in 2022 under her publishing name, Scattered Whimsy. Its sequel, TINSEL IN A TWIST, released in 2021. She's currently working on an inspirational romance with a splash of Christmas magic. When not immersed in writing or honing important life skills as a mom and homemaker, you can find Laurie knitting anything from clothes to toys, or creating dioramas for her 16-inch poseable dolls (Ellowyne Wilde, anyone?).
