Laura J Whiskens was born in 1980's Britain in a council estate full of colourful characters. The youngest of three girls, Laura was often found with her head in a book or riding one of the family's horses. In the summer of 2013 a little girl called Catherine and her best friend, Danny, invaded Laura's every waking moment. From their persistence, Danny Boy was born and became Laura's first publication. Since then Laura has published several short stories, collectively they are Telling Tales, as well as Pieces of Me and Riot Girl. In 2015 Laura released 'So, You Want to Write a Book?', a non-fiction book for new indie writers. Her works in progress include My Immortal, a dark vampire romance, and 'C is for Cancer', which is based on a true story close to Laura's heart. Laura currently lives in a picturesque town in Warwickshire, UK with her partner and their cats.
