Jim Lyon primarily writes erotica with BDSM themes. All his titles are available in e-book and audiobook formats. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, he currently lives near Los Angeles. In addition to being an author, Jim is an editor and publisher. He and his wife own Wordwooze Publishing, a boutique publishing company that specializes in erotica of varying genres. Since they envision a world with an ever diminishing market for print erotica books, they are all in with ebooks and audiobooks, routinely publishing every title they bring to market in both formats. They are very flexible regarding the genres and content of books they will publish, but much more discerning about a writer's ability to tap into the fantasies of erotica fans. It is their belief that authors of erotic stories should have an affinity for, or at least a thorough understanding of, the fetishes and fantasies they're writing about. Otherwise it is less likely that their writing will truly resonate with the audience they are targeting.
