Helen Croydon is a best-selling author and journalist. Her latest book This Girl Ran: Tales from a party girl turned triathlete was longlisted for the William Hill Book of the Year 2018. Her previous books include the dating memoir Sugar Daddy Diaries: When a Fantasy Became an Obsession (Mainstream Publishing), which became a best-seller when released in 2011. And Screw the Fairytale: A Modern Guide to Sex and Love, which is a witty polemic asking whether full-time, committed relationships are still relevant. Helen has enjoyed a 15 year career as a journalist across print, broadcast and digital before turning to media consulting. She's written for almost all UK national papers from The Sunday Times to Telegraph to The Mirror and been a producer for ITV News and ITV London News. Her early writing focussed on relationship trends and dating mirroring the topics of her first two books, which question the conventional monogamous model of relationships. More recently, after the publication of her third book she focussed on health, fitness and endurance sport.
