I love to write stories featuring women. I trace this fascination all the way back to the summer of '76. My mother read to me, my brothers, and sister every afternoon. One of the stories she read was Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves. Do you remember Morgana and her jars? Even today, I can hear my mother dramatically recounting the way Morgana poured hot oil into each of the jars, killing thief after thief, me thinking how thrilling that part of the story was...mostly because a woman decided the fates of the most fearsome men.

Morgana affected me in ways that wouldn't manifest until I began to write my own stories. I love to imagine dominant women and the harrowing adventures that find them.

I currently reside in Irving, Texas and spend my time volunteering in various programs around my neighborhood when I'm not writing.
