A riveting dive into history

Doomsday Book

"This book starts out a bit slow, there's no denying it, but by the end I was so thoroughly immersed and engaged (and on the edge of my seat) that I could hardly get anything useful done while waiting for the conclusion of the book. Willis brings the people of the Middle Ages to life with a deftness and understanding hardly to be rivaled. In a word: incredible." -- Lucie

JUST BUY IT.

The Hike

"I'm not even going to try to describe this book. Just buy it. Just listen. Neil Gaiman meets Mark Twain. in fact, if I were shelving books by genre I would stand it beside Twain's The Mysterious Stranger, with no other works on the shelf." -- Laurie

This book is utterly stunning

The Fifth Season: The Broken Earth, Book 1

"I loved every second of this book. The writing is so comprehensive that fictional words and concepts explain themselves through context - and they give you straight-forward explanations too, later on, just in case you missed anything. The universe is foreign, but not as foreign as you might think - and this becomes clearer as the book takes you through one startling revelation after another. It will answer questions you didn't even realize you'd been asking yourself. It's okay if you feel a bit over your head at first - the story will carefully steer your brain into understanding. I'd honestly be fine with the book ending where it does, but I'm beyond thrilled to hear that there are more. Enjoy!!" -- Stephanie

Love every minute of it!!

Stalked by Flames: Dragon's Breath Series #1

"This is an exciting book, it's like The Walking Dead meets San Andreas meets dragons and shape shifters. I haven't read a book this excellent in a few months, I plan on reading every single book. The narrator is fabulous and the book reads smooth, full of action and mystery." -- Amber

Theme of Time-Travel: Well-Executed

Rewinder

"I love the way Brett Battles develops an intricate, looping plot that explores some well-known and frequently-revisited time-travel paradoxes, yet ties everything together without loose ends--that is, not loose ends that I am smart enough to detect. I am a Battles fan and am not disappointed by the likeable characters, the complexity, and the intellectual agility of this tale. The narrator does not interfere at all with the reader's immersion. Rather, character transitions appear flawless, which is especially noticeable in his treatment of dialogue among male and female voices. Vikas Adam's performance adds liveliness and believability to the listening experience." -- John

One of the best books I've ever read.

Theft of Swords: Riyria Revelations, Volume 1

"This book and in fact the whole series is absolutely wonderful. It has as much depth and color as other similar stories such as Lord of the Rings and lt;i>The Sword of Shannara. I read the whole series and it just kept getting better and better. I was truly sorry to see it end. These are the rare treasures I look for." -- JoAyn

On the edge of my seat!

Jurassic Park: A Novel

"Usually I don't take the time to write a review, however, this was the best audio book I've listened to. Not only was the story gripping and well written, Brick's performance was extraordinary! He did a great job using unique voices for each character so you could always tell who was speaking and he was masterful in creating suspense. I was on the edge of my seat often and it was hard for me to stop listening. Highly recommended!" -- Kayla

Stick with it. It'll be very much worth it!!

Red Rising

"I reserve my 5 star ratings for books like this! I needed a few chapters to get used to the narrator. But when I got used to him, his voice acting was top notch. Do not believe people saying that this is a YA book.People got it right though when they said that this was something like a mix of Game of Thrones and Hunger Games. Stick with it. The story just needed a few chapters to build up, but once the story gets going, It's hard to stop listening. That's enough review for now. Buying the next book NOW!!" -- Reinald

Love this rendition of space and time travel.

Pilot X

"Amazing writing style. I have already recommended this to friends and family. So many cool elements that I never thought of. Can't wait to see if there is another book coming soon." -- Matt
