Relatable and hilarious!

The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl

"The beginning performance is a bit dry, then she gets comfortable! Her storytelling is fantastic and soooo funny! Sometimes her pain is your teen memory! Loved it!" -- Lamollita

Talk about an eye opener.

Small Great Things: A Novel

"I overlooked this book for a couple months, even though the reviews were very good. I was not in the mood for a book about racism. But... I am so glad I decided to listen to this book. It was gripping from start to finish. Not at all what I expected" -- Shelfish

Outstanding

NPCs

"Great new approach to RPG based fantasy. For individuals who grew up gaming, this book brings all of the imagination, innovation, excitement, and entertainment rushing back... Not to mention those long forgotten dreams, "I wish this were real" stated sooner or later by every would be paladin, cleric, halfling, barbarian, or thief... Wonderful twist! Highly recommend." -- David

Jaw-droppingly compelling, required reading

The Case Against Sugar

"As far as my (and my family's) health and well-being are concerned, this is the most important book I've ever read. So much so that I read it twice--started right back at the beginning as soon as I finished it the first time. The first several chapters dragged on for me, but they're definitely not skippable. Chapters 12-14 were so compelling I wanted to make everyone around me listen in. Everyone in America should read and heed Gary Taubes's words. If the Surgeon General had a recommended reading list, this should be number one." -- Russ

Helps with the mind and heart

The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World

"The book was very interesting and surprisingly funny at times. I truly felt at times I was sitting aside watching these very smart men past down their life lessons. In a very corporate world I live in with 3 kids in college and facing an aging life, very glad to have listened to this book. Not going to rush out to be a holy man any time soon, but this book puts a lot into prospective. Thank You." -- Jimmy Mihalik

The best dieting advice I have ever had.

The Secret Life of Fat: The Science Behind the Body's Least Understood Organ and What It Means for You

"Even with my medical training, this book provides the best approach to fighting fat tailored to your own individual needs. The author uses very simple explanations to elucidate a complex science topic. Very informative and interesting." -- Ronald Magembe

Great Book

The Darkest Child

"I read this book when I was much younger. I decided to listen to the audible version it was even better than what I remembered ! the storyline was gripping and unfortunately the storyline was too real." -- Cherise Boothe

Brings back memories

The Power of One

"This was the first real novel I read, at the age of about 9. I pulled it off my parents bookshelf and saw the little boy with boxing gloves. I had no idea how intense and emotional the story would prove to be, and I loved it. I'd think about the story often throughout my life, but had never re-read it until now. As an adult I realize how much of it went over my nine year old head.Humphrey Bower does a masterful job bringing the voices of South Africa to life. Peekay, Hoppie, Hiel Piet, Doc, Hymie, everyone is uniquely voiced and believable. It was a great experience to finally hear the voices in the accent they were intended. He story is both funny and terribly sad, and Humphrey brings the perfect blend of emotional nuance to every scene. " -- Humphrey Bower

Tears We Cannot Stop

"Inexplicably profound. Scholarly, humorous, relevant, inspirational and practical. Dyson addresses so many taboo or complex issues in a way that makes them understandable. Several "ah ha" moments." -- Amazon Customer
